Our CD (Certificate of Deposit) rates are based upon non-compounding, simple interest. Annual percentage yield ("APY") is expressed on the assumption that investment terms under one year are rolled over at the prevailing rate to complete a one-year investment. Interest posted annually or at the end of term. Penalties may be incurred for early withdrawal.

Metropolitan National Bank® ATM and debit cardholders pay no Metropolitan National Bank® fees to use any ATM worldwide, and any "foreign" ATM fees charged by owners of ATMs other than Metropolitan National Bank® are rebated.
Metropolitan National Bank® has chosen not to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Customers of Metropolitan National Bank® with non interest-bearing transaction accounts will continue to be insured through December 31, 2013 for up to $250,000 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
